The coming years more than $15 billion will be spent on the construction and fit-out of airports in Saudi Arabia

High-level network event

The coming years Saudi Arabia will spend billions on the development and expansion of many regional and international airports around the country. The busiest airport in the country, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah will be upgraded for $11.3 billion. The major international airport in Riyadh, KKIA, is also being upgraded. Medina airport, which is still a regional airport, will spend $6 billion to upgrade to an international airport. Furthermore, 14 of the 24 regional airports will be expanded. The design of KKIA and the masterplanning of KAIA and the regional airports is being carried out by NACO. These massive developments provide great opportunities for suppliers of equipments, systems and services for the fitting out of airports, as well as products for its construction.

From 17 to 20 October 2010 key decision makers in the Saudi airport sector will receive a delegation of Dutch suppliers of cutting edge airport  solutions. The Holland Gulf Chamber of Commerce (HGCOC) in cooperation with NACO, the Dutch Airport Technology Group and the Netherlands Embassy, is organising a high-level networking event for consultants and suppliers to airports. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with high-level business leaders and decision makers in Saudi Arabia involved with the development, design, construction and fitting out of its international and regional airports.

The trade mission is intended for senior executives and export managers. The programme consists of a high-level networking event and customised meetings with the major developers, consultants and contractors of the Saudi airport projects. During these meetings you will have the opportunity to directly meet with Saudi counterparts and provide them with a presentation of your company. With the participation of NACO in the organisation of this trade mission, this event provides a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to meet all the important players within the Saudi airport sector.
