The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Gulf region, with a total population of 28,7 million. The rapid rise of population and growing industry are creating a huge demand for more and better infrastructure. One of the biggest priorities of the government is to expand cities, develop new ones and improve mobility. As a result of this six economic cities are being planned and hundreds of billions are invested in the design and build of (urban) infrastructure and innovative improvements in traffic flow, parking and road safety.

To introduce firms to these opportunities the Holland Gulf Chamber of Commerce is organising a high-level trade mission to Saudi Arabia from 11 to 13 June 2012.  The trade mission is intended for Dutch consultants, engineers, builders and  suppliers of innovative traffic management systems. Participants will be introduced to the main decision makers in ministries and municipalities, the largest contracting firms and relevant local consultants.
